• Capacitive Deionization (CDI)
It is a kind of water desalination and purification technology based on double electric layer capacitor theory. The basic principle is that after applying low voltage to the electrode, the cation, anionic or charged particles in the solution migrate to the poles respectively under the action of electric field force and concentration gradient, and adsorb on the electrode surface to form double electricity
The Technique can also be called Electrosorption Technique (EST).
